Trevor Demetrius Paxton graduated from the Royal Amarr Institute at Emrayur III and immediately began working for local agents transporting slaves and other meanial jobs. However, not satisfied with working for others, he began to concentrate on establishing a career in mining while executing missions for agents only when it suited him.
Paxton started his career mining Scordite in all its forms from the belts of the Emrayur system where he mined enough Scordite to invest in a Bestower and the skills to pilot it. Then, frustrated with the constantly crowded belts, Paxton moved his mining operation to a nearby system, Tew, where he continued toward perfecting his mining skills.
After selling his rather large inventory of ore to a local merchant, Paxton returned to Emrayur and continued mining the resources there while working on a plan to build a corporation that could offer career opporunities to miners. Having experienced the dangers that local pirate factions bring to the citizens of the Amarr Empire, he decided that his plan would also include opportunities for pirate hunters.
In the meantime, Trevor also established a good relationship with the Royal Amarr Institute, routinely completing mission assignments for its agents. Soon, word of Paxton's speed and efficiency spread through the empire and he began to receive requests from other agents to carry out missions for them.
After becoming an expert miner, Paxton also specialized in Veldspar and Scordite refining; purchasing these low-grade ores from the market and profiting from the mineral sales. At the same time, he expanded his mining to include Pyroxeres in all its forms.
Paxton soon entered into a partnership with Al Ugilac, an Intaki who came from Gallente space to embrace the light of the Amarr faith. Together, they slowly developed the plan on which their future corporation would be based.
After a few months of casual planning, Trevor Paxton registered his corporation, Paxton Syndicate, on 23341 May 15. The first application was submitted eight days later.
