Founded and financed by Khanid Transport, the Khanid Cartographical Society represents its mother corporation's efforts to expand into space exploration. Among its fields of activity are the planning and undertaking of various scientific expeditions, the charting of resources and trade routes, and optimizing the flow of communication and transport. Rumours that the Cartographical Society is also connected to the Royal Khanid Navy and serves as a military intelligence branch of sorts have been denied.
