From download to first answer

Download the build for your hardware
Pick the installer matching your OS and GPU. The NVIDIA build runs on CUDA (fastest); the AMD/Intel build uses Vulkan. Both fall back gracefully.

The lite installer downloads, once, the embedding model, the EVE knowledge index and a chat model you choose. You can change models later.

A local LLM answers from the in-RAM knowledge index. Nothing is sent to any server, except optional lookups to public EVE APIs for live data.
