In-game bio

Canis Iycaon was an alternate version of "Canis Lycaon" which was taken, and so I used a capital "i" instead of an "L" since those characters look basically the same in that format. I wanted to name my character after a type of wolf for several reasons, in part because I was inspired by the philosophy of the Starks from GoT, with an emphasis on striving to protect and provide for one's family, to achieve skill and glory through practice and dedication, and to live by a code of honor, albeit I depart from the Starks in my own interpretation of honor, but live by honor nonetheless.

Furthermore, Lycaon was also a Greek King of Arcadia, who tested the omniscience of the god Zeus by feeding him the roasted flesh of Lycaon's own son to see if Zeus was truly all knowing. For this horrific act Zeus turned Lycaon into a wolf. To me this story reminds me of the perversion of the world and how easily people can be twisted into justifying the most unimaginable things for the most trivial of reasons. I think it is a very relevant fact considering how people act in video games. I consider it a reminder to myself to never lose myself or my honor in the pursuit of the power I need to build the foundation of future generations.

I strive to become the leader I would want to lead me. I strive to be a man that I would trust with the well being of my family. I strive to be free of delusion, of self righteousness, of blame and animosity, of everything that would shroud from me the truth of how things really are. Though I don't think I could ever truly be free of this bias intrinsic to humanity, I strive to rid myself of lies because the truth is power, and power gives me what I need to keep my family safe.
