In-game bio
It was many ages before the shaping of our first world that the Mist World, Niflheimr, was made. Beginning as a desolate land of permanant frost, it seemed time itself was frozen within its domain. Only with the neighbouring realm of fire, Muspelheim, with it's breath of heat whispering against the rime, did a realm of mist form between them.
The vapour brought forth the quickening of creation, and from it's dripping liquid the form of a man, Ymir was formed. From Ymir's body, the lost first world was born and Midgard came to be.
The springs of warmth and creation that now resides in Niflheimr was a treasure, watched over by a Lady who had known nobody and who nobody had known.
Long after all the gods decided to sleep, Freyja noticed the passing dead were too few. Fearing the end of Midgard, she left her post. Instead of the end, she saw a new beginning, with thousands of new worlds and those who were no longer shackled to mortality or land: The Capsuleers.
