Description
“Patched, primed, and probably safe.”
Burnt Cordite Hullworks operates out of a sprawling, half-rebuilt dockyard that always smells faintly of propellant and hot metal. The outer plating doesn’t quite match—layers of scavenged armor welded over older scars, each section telling a different story about what went wrong and how it was “fixed.”
Inside, the hangars are a constant storm of sparks, shouted arguments, and improvised solutions. Crews strip wrecks down to their bones, bolt on whatever still holds pressure, and push ships back out the door before the welds have fully cooled. Nothing is wasted—if it survived the blast, it’s getting reused.
Power flickers. Warning lights stay on longer than they should. Somewhere, something is always venting. But the ships that leave? They fly. Usually straight.
Docking control will tell you everything is within acceptable limits.
The smell says otherwise.
