Firebrid Hunter

Firebrid Hunter was born into slavery. His parents, Pyrox and Flametrix died when he was just 2, beaten to death by Slave masters, and Firebrid vowed to avenge their demise.
At the age of 8, after many hard years of labour, he killed his master with a shovel, and ran from the slave camp. He didn't know where to go, and when he heard the angry voices of Slave drivers behind him, he shouted out for help. A French-looking man, of roughly 18 years of age stepped forward from behind a boulder.
"Howdy traveller" he said. "Are you in need of assistance?"
Firebrid was startled, and could only manage a weak nod. He followed the stranger to his ship. Firebrid had never seen a ship before, and so was enthrawled to enter the cockpit.
"What's your name?" asked the stranger.
"Firebrid Hunter"
"I'm Ferrous Ironclaw. Pleased to meet you"
The conversation was then interrupted by a sudden jolt as the ship began the acceleration process to reach warp speed. This was all new to Firebrid, so Ferrous informed him of the strange new happenings as they occured....
".....and that's the afterburner kicking in"
Firebrid was thoroughly interested in space travel. He gazed awestricken around the cockpit of the vessel. Suddenly, the ship jolted again, but much more than it had done into warp speed.
"Damn! Caldari Ships are blocking the stargate!" exclaimed Ferrous. A low buzz emitted from Ferrous's ship, and Firebrid just caught a glimpse of a green trai extending from a turret on the outside of Ferrous's ship. More followed, and all were aimed at the small group of Caldari Ships. A succession of explosions were heard a split second later, as the ships were torn apart.
"What was that??!!!!" exclaimed Firebrid, bedazzled by the extraordinary situation.
"Those, Firebrid, were my 200mm Railguns"
The ship then approached the stargate.
"Now we're going to make a jump to another system, where we will be safe from the Caldari" Ferrous said.
Subsequently, the ship jumped to a gallente controlled system in the region of Sinq Laison.
"Why did those ships attack us?" Firebrid asked Ferrous.
"Because a war has been raging on for a long time, between the Caldari and Gallente races. Originally, we had been untied, as one race. But then a large seperatist group developed, and became detatched from the Gallente race as we know it. ***Bio not yet finished cos i can't b arsed atm :)***
