It's usually best to start a corp with a small group of mates rather than by yourself. In order to keep new
members as they come in you really need to have a core of corpmembers who are going to be online
often as there are few things worse than a new member logging in to an empty corpchat all the
time.Aside from that you should set some basic goals (long term and short term) for the corp to work
towards.Remember your corpmates are other players and not simply drones to mine for just the corp.
They also have their own goals and ambitions so it helps if the corps goals complement them.Patience is
a major aspect of running a corp and one I never really got the hang of. There will be ties when
everything is going great. Then out of the blue it all seems to be falling to pieces or there are internal
disputes that need delt with. Being able to keep on going through the bad times in the corp will often
determine whether the corp continues to grow or rolls over and dies.Good luck if you go ahead with it.

"Remember your corpmates are other players and not simply drones to mine for just the corp"

man never a truer word said there
