After years of exploration within the Sol System the inhabitants encountered a terrifying enemy, followed by generations of war resulting in the destruction of many colonies including those on Mars the enemy had reached Earth. With no hope of surviving the onslaught the last earthlings fled for a promising star cluster filled with thousands of earth-like planets. The journey took hundreds of years traveling at sublight, upon entering the cluster the survivors soon colonized a new planet, in a new solar system, a new home.
