Originally created as an extension of the Jita 4-4 Teamster's Union under the late Aksesu Kitagawa, Kirjuunen Ketsonet Nuijaa (KIKEN simplified or "Comrades' Provisions Club" in Napanii) represents a coalition of various militant, radical Caldari workers union groups that feel dissatisfied with and unrepresented by the previously existing Caldari State Workers Union controlled by the State megacorporations.

Prior to its formation as a formal vanguardist paramilitary organization, KIKEN is heavily suspected to have been involved in the bombing of CEP Spire in YC123 that lead to the incapacitation of CEP Chairperson
Puok Kossinen, yet evidence remains scant as to its specific involvement and to what extent KIKEN leadership was aware or involved with the affair.

While considered radicals by many, KIKEN has still succeeded in attracting many to its cause through its syndicalist rhetoric and its ability to convert and reform former Provist and Templis Dragonaur radicals into its ideological vanguard. KIKEN influence is strongest within Kaalakiota workers groups, due in part to its abundance of former Provists and line workers in management positions necessitated in the wake of the dual purges carried out under the Tibus Heth regime and after its disillusion.

Despite its revolutionary aims, KIKEN claim that they remain staunch supporters of the Caldari people and only seek to free the state from the exploitative policies that undergirds the modern Caldari society. To the them, involving themselves in the ongoing militia conflict is simply another front in the battle for the hearts and minds of the State’s proletariat.
