Biography of Nepthys Fithaerun

later known as Winterheart


The name Winterheart arose in the in the borderwars, when the Sebiestor secured the outer rims beyond the Heimatar system to install the stargates to the adjacent solar systems.
After a critical failure of the lifesupport system aboard the heavy Battlecruiser 'Biestormentor' the remains of the crew that survived the explosion went into cryostasis hoping for rescue. Nephthys refused the cryotank and decided to pilot the ship back through the stargate to reach the home system. Accompained by the young mechanic Atnan Kelevar, who maintained the slowly dissolving engines, they managed the final jump out of the gate and within sensor reach of Heimatar. The warp interferences lead to an overload in the powerlines, virtually melting the engine off the ship, killing Atnan as he was ripped into open space.
Nephthys, still on the bridge, dispatched an emergency signal, before the cold froze her to death. A nearby patrol received the signal and rescued the cryotanks with the crew before they found her, nearly frozen to the controls of the ship.

Beyond all hopes she could be reanimated in the Heimatar clinic complex, and after 6 months of recovering she joined the Republic Military School [RMS] as a navigation officer.

The return from the frozen dead gave her the name Winterheart, the name Nephthys Fithaerun has nearly been forgotten since then.

Highly decorated for the rescue of 42 crewmembers and after more than three years of service for the RMS she decided to make her own way. After studying management and ethnic relations in Jita she became CEO of the N.C.M. Interstellar Corp. enjoying the rather peaceful life in the corporations Headquarters.

But she still pilots her ships into battle from time to time.
