Biography:
Born on the ragged rim of corporate lanes, Sergo learned to barter, jury-rig and disappear long before he read a market feed. He cut his teeth running with smugglers and scavengers—repairing hulls under fire, slipping convoys through patrol gaps, and turning station beacons into lies. A single clever ambush—using falsified beacon data to reroute an escort into a rock-field—earned him a reputation and the attention of Angel Cartel recruiters.
Sergo shifted from freelance courier to militia operator without vows or fanfare. He treats the Cartel like an ecosystem: a means to leverage risk into profit. He rose by results, not rhetoric, organizing small cells that strike logistics nodes, high-value freighters and support wings before fading into silence. He prefers surgical chaos to siege: timing, corrupted signatures and misdirection are his weapons.
Personality and mannerisms:
Sparse words, deliberate smile that unnerves allies and enemies alike.
Methodical laugh; habitually folds a thin datapad the same way.
Fiercely loyal to crew, merciless to betrayers.
Sees rules as tools: bend, break or barter them when it serves survival or gain.
Notable deeds:
The Narrows Gambit: rerouted a heavily escorted convoy into a fatal chokepoint using a hacked sensor node.
The Ashford Ledger: exfiltrated manifest data from a rival node and sold it to silence a provincial governor.
Roleplay hooks:
Tactical patience; waits for the precise moment to strike.
Calls allies by practical handles; insists on “Sergo.”
Will negotiate and double-cross if the numbers justify it; avoids needless cruelty.
Defends his crew and his code: profit and survival first, unnecessary killing last.
In-character lines:
“You don’t scare me with guns; you scare me with bad timing.”
“There are only two currencies out here: willpower and manifest data.”
