The Titan’s Reckoning

The cold corridors of the Empress’s capital ships were all Sian had ever known. Born into servitude, his life was dictated by the whims of Amarrian masters who saw him as nothing more than a cog in their holy machine. But unlike his kin, he was not blind to the chains that bound him—both the ones wrapped around his wrists and the invisible ones fastened to his mind.

He studied in secret, memorized every command barked by his superiors, and understood the intricate systems that powered the Royal Fleet’s greatest warships. Most importantly, he learned to wield the devastating energy of the doomsday weapons, the hand of divine retribution the Amarr claimed as their birthright.

Yet, divinity did not reside in gods or Empresses—it resided in power. And power could be taken.

In the quiet of his own thoughts, Sian became something more—an unshackled mind in a sea of indoctrinated slaves. He used the privileges granted to him as a trusted operator of the Fleet to undergo the capsuleer process in secret, ensuring his consciousness could transcend the limitations of mere flesh. He bided his time, waiting for the perfect moment, the perfect ship.

That moment came aboard an Avatar-class Titan, the very symbol of Amarr's unyielding might. The Empress’s fleet had deployed on what they called a “righteous crusade,” but for Sian, it was an opportunity. In a single, calculated strike, he sabotaged the ship’s command hierarchy, overrode its security protocols, and took the helm. The ship lurched as alarms screamed across the decks, and the voices of his masters turned from orders to desperate pleas.

But Sian had already made his decision.

With a pulse of its jump drive, the Titan ripped itself from Amarrian space, vanishing into the void. He did not stop until he reached the heart of Gallente territory, where freedom was not a whispered dream but a reality.

Now, Captain Sian lives on his own terms, a ghost of the Empire’s past. The Amarr call him a traitor, a heretic, a blasphemer. But he knows the truth. He is no servant, no slave. He is the master of his own fate, and woe be to any who try to take that from him.

For the first time in his life, Sian is free.

And he will never be chained again.
