PERSONAL DOSSIER
Psychological Profile:
Quiet, deliberate, and reserved. Harlan Renaud keeps most of himself locked behind a calm, professional exterior. He is neither cold nor hostile, simply distant. Repeated separation from family left him with a deep, unspoken insecurity — especially about the ruined face beneath the synthetic skin and combat plating — that makes emotional or romantic closeness feel impossible. He channels that energy into precision work instead. He is reliable, methodical, and uninterested in drama.
Biography:
Born Harlan Renaud to a Gallente father and Guristas mother, he was still a child when his father defected to Mordu’s Legion in search of a more stable life. His mother refused to leave her people and remained behind.
As a young man a mundane industrial accident destroyed half his face. The damage could not be fully restored from his genetic template, so every clone carries the same heavy cybernetics. The metal aches in the cold, a constant reminder of what lies under the artificial skin.
Years later a Sansha True Power raid took his father. Much later still, he learned the outpost had been glassed and found the name in a recovered Sansha record — listed among the taken, then nothing further.
With no family left to return to, the Legion became the only lasting structure in his life. He never made a mission of the past. He simply stopped volunteering for anything connected to Sansha space and declined to discuss the subject. He has taken part in Legion operations against Upwell interests when ordered, including time in the Vanguard theater, treating the work with the same quiet professionalism he gives everything else.
In off hours he competes in the Legion’s internal military drills — most often timed sidearm disassembly and reassembly — finding a restrained kind of camaraderie in the shared precision. Alone, he sometimes watches drama holoreels.
The Legion eventually began calling him Wraithstar Grim. Not as a joke or a title of glory, but as quiet recognition that he had been through the wringer and still stood. He accepted the name without comment.
He works. He maintains his routines and his gear. The rest he leaves alone.
