Excerpt from Khanid Commented History, 107th Edition
'The Mukadder clan is deeply tied to the Anshan peninsula in Irmalin II.
Adeshir Mukadder was the first Legatus assigned to the region, roughly 16 centuries ago. Since then, the Family provided 68 members to the legislature Chair, while allowing some special liberties to their livestock workforce - even resulting in complete abandon of slavery practices and adoption of seigneurialism.
This decision wasn´t met without resistance - enough for some of the local ruling families to force a Trial by Forfeiture, which ultimately backfired, granting the clan an aura of grandeur and justice that cemented their position in the seat of power. The Anshan population had one of the most tranquil social records of all Khanid Regions, having only four registered cases of politically-induced civil uprising over the last millenium.'
