I had spent my entire career following orders, risen through the ranks to command of a Leviathan titan in service to the Caldari empire. During the latter end of my tour began the great "capsuleer adventure". I watched them grow in power and majesty, rapidly eclipsing the great navies in their reach for immortality. I started to wonder if an old dog could learn new tricks after all but my superiors weren't very fond of that idea... Too many secrets known, too much of my life wasted, besides, I was told, you're too old.
All it took was the right bribe to my sympathetic chief engineer, a little arranged accident with a plasma fusion reactor. Not too much chance of human remains being expected to survive a heat like that. Slipped away in a shuttle with the blueprints to a ship that I had come across in our many skirmishes with the Gurista's, a Rattlesnake class battleship, modified for capsuleer use.</
