Vevva was orphaned at a young age. His parents, Gallente traders, killed by Minmatar activists whilst establishing a trade colony in Amarr.

Growing up in an aggressive orphanage in Oursalaert he learnt quickly to look after himself. Although a troublesome child he was academically gifted and gained a scholarship to study engineering at the school of advanced studies.

When he came of age he inherited family wealth and set out on a brief business career picking up the reins of his family business and for a while happily built his fortune.

Many of his trade routes took him through Providence, and on one occassion moving an expensive consignment of ferrogel he encountered a Minmatar terrorist patrol that locked and scrambled his unarmed cargo vessel.

Although the impact on his profits was not significant, the piracy brought back memories of his parents death, and prompted Vevva to retrain as a combat pilot.
