Humble beginings and a reputable presence were a key factor in their success, but in the end a good reputation and reasonable leadership only went so far. Ruthless competitors, a dying believe of benevolence, and the corruption of outside leadership have caused Zerus to become a husk of its formerly formidable self. It has always been said there is no Zerus without the Ferosion family and that is true.
