Ishmael McBane

Ishmael McBane was born into a long line of liberty loving military activists. Thus it was no surprise to his parents when he decided to join the Gallente Federal Navy Academy. However, he quickly grew tired of the environment, feeling that the Navy was now an obsolete organization of bureaucratic lackys who wanted power more than liberty. He didn't want to be controlled by extensive rules of engagement, red tape and jargon, he wanted to be a freedom fighter. However, he devised to go through with the Academy regardless, but to declare his true opinion before he left and to attempt to garner support. On his last day at the academy, after recieving his diploma, he loudly proclaimed "To black holes with the lot of you! You fools have given up the Gallente way! You sit idly about while slavery and fetters still exsist! Come with me to bring freedom to the oppressed!" Many of the newly graduated cadets followed him, to which they named themselves the "Freedom Privateers".
