There are few left who recollect the true origins of the New British Empire, some talk of ancient colony ships cast out from Terra's green and pleasant land many eons ago, others of ancient cultural broadcasts intercepted by a small fanatical cult adrift in the outer reaches of known space. All that is for certain is that New Britannia and its empire are alive and well. Industrious and devoted its citizens have developed a unique cultural history and can be found flourishing across New Eden.

The New Britannia Mining Corporation was amongst the core founding interests of the New Britannia Economic Empire and is considered the jewel in the crown providing for the vast industrial demands of the imperial state.
