Formation:

The "Eredan Light Horse" trace their history back to 23216 AD / 80 EVT when the Eredan Militia was formed to defend the citizens of the eight planets of Eredan during the time of the Minmatar Rebellion. The unit consisted of two regiments of Militia and five Tormentor Class frigates.


Earning our name:

In 23216, the Commander of the Militia was assassinated during dinner by his Minmatar servants at the start of the Minmatar Rebellion. The Militia immediately mobilized and occupied the major cities on all eight worlds of their system. When Tribal Liberation Forces invaded and attempted to take the Eredan system, the newly formed Militia sent forces to all the cities of Eredan. On the third planet of Eredan the Tribal Liberation Forces landed and attempted to destroy the slave owners and poison the environment for revenge of the centuries of slavery. But the newly formed Militia repelled them repeatedly. The unit received the nickname "Eredan Light Horse" when a journalist, sympathetic to the defense of her home, reported that the Militia had scattered the Tribal Liberation Forces "like spirited Eredan stallions chasing after fat, clumsy cows". After the humiliation and loss of lives, the Tribal Liberation Forces had no choice but to flee the planet and system

Eredan Light Horse is a Mercenary Unit first and formost and is combat orientated. We believe success comes from strong leadership, Quality training, good diplomacy and the ability to smash our enemies in the face.


Expectations of the Corporation:

Eredan Light Horse intent is to operate as a combat organization first, with the added divisions in Mining, PvE, R&D, PI, and Manufacturing of ships, modules, munitions, and capitals for its members and its income. The combat policy is one of self-discipline, and commitment to our cause.
