[CHNPP] State Specialized Enterprise .Chernobyl NPP.

Chornobyl NPP is the most famous of all nuclear power plants. The difficult scenario of the creation, development, operation and closure of the Chornobyl NPP is forever inscribed in the history of world energy and the world history of the end of the second and beginning of the third millennia. ChNPP was the firstborn of the Ukrainian nuclear power industry, it also turned out to be the first NPP of Ukraine that ceased to generate electricity, and notably much earlier than the design lifetime. For a short period of its operation (the first Power Unit was commissioned in 1977, and the last Power Unit was shut down in 2000) the ChNPP managed to generate more than 300 billion kilowatt-hours of electricity for the country.
