The Asset Matrix on Capsuleers.app is an asset tracker that shows your EVE Online capsuleer's whole inventory, fetched directly from ESI with the `esi-assets.read_assets.v1` scope. It answers "where are my assets": items are grouped by solar system, with stations and player structures listed under their hosting system and free-floating objects in space shown under a dedicated bucket. For every location you see name, region, security status and total item count, with an ISK valuation based on EVErefs reference prices to estimate your net worth.
A global search bar lets you find any item, container or ship across the whole inventory regardless of location. The search matches the item's English type name, group, category and the custom name you gave it in-game (e.g. "Spare DST" or "Hauler 3"). Matching items are highlighted and the containing locations expand automatically so you can see them in context. Asset Safety re-parenting pulls the contents of recovered wraps back inline.
The tool doesn't move items, doesn't change quantities and doesn't talk to your wallet — it's read-only by design. ESI caches assets for ~5 minutes per character, so the refresh button reflects that ceiling. Useful to find that misplaced rig stack, plan a hauling run, or get a real number for an annual inventory cleanup.
