A Sansha Incursion Lands in Pochven While Crimson Harvest Hollow Sites Quietly Change

On Saturday 24 October a Sansha's Nation incursion showed up in Pochven, and r/Eve noticed within hours. A few days earlier, players running Crimson Harvest's Hollow sites reported that NPC behaviour had changed after a patch. Neither story is a war or a sov flip, but both touch the places where the community is most invested right now: the Triglavian triangle and the Halloween event.

An incursion where it "should never happen"

The thread was posted at 09:59 UTC on 24 October as a bare link to the community incursion tracker, eve-incursions.space, under the title "an incursion has spawned in pochven". It reached the top of r/Eve's hot list and drew 44 comments (r/Eve thread).

What the thread supports: players describe it as a Sansha incursion inside Pochven space, and several say it is rare. One commenter recalls Sansha incursions in Pochven in 2023/24; the original poster says it has happened only once before and that it was treated as a bug. Both are player memories, not official statements. We could not find any announcement from Fenris Creations about it, so we cannot say whether it is intended.

The reaction split three ways:

  • Money. Commenters compared incursion headquarters to Observatory Flashpoints. One estimates a headquarters site pays about 2.7 billion ISK split across 60 pilots, against roughly 3 billion split across 15 for an Observatory site. Others argue incursion fleets earn more per pilot than Ishtar "spinning". These are estimates from players and are not verified.

  • Lore and design. Some want EDENCOM to answer with a military campaign in Pochven. Others use the moment to revive the old argument about how the Invasion update turned the highsec systems into Pochven.

  • Jokes. Plenty of "new content for the multiboxer" and "Sansha wants in on the Crimson Harvest".

Treat the thread as a heads-up, not a bulletin. If you live in the triangle, check the tracker and your local intel before you undock.

Hollow sites: did the NPCs change?

On 21 October a player posted that after the patch the NPCs in a Hollow Class 2 site no longer targeted their drones (r/Eve thread). Other players in the thread said the same, and one pointed out that the Tetrimon NPCs in larger sites also ignore drones. One commenter said the change is in the patch notes. We did not find those notes ourselves, so we do not confirm it.

Other observations in the thread, all from individual players: Hollow Class 3 sites are now spawning in lowsec, loot may have been adjusted (commenters disagree on whether it went up or down), and the hacking minigame lagged for at least one player. One veteran of the event says tweaks after the first week happen every year.

For context on how the event started, see our earlier piece, Crimson Harvest 2026 Ten Days In.

Why it matters

Crimson Harvest is meant to push people into Pochven and into PvP, and a Sansha incursion adds one more reason to be there. If the Hollow changes are real, drone-based setups become safer in those sites, which shifts who farms them and how. Keep watching official channels for confirmation.
