Delete your account and data

• Sign in with the EVE character you use on Capsuleers.app.
• Come back to this page, or open Profile > Preferences > Delete account.
• Press the delete button and type the name of your main character (or the word DELETE) to confirm.

The deletion runs immediately: your data is removed, you are signed out and sent to the home page. If you cannot sign in, write to [email protected] and we will delete the account for you within 30 days, after checking that it is yours.

• Your EVE characters and their ESI tokens (we also ask EVE Online to revoke the refresh tokens).
• The Discord, Twitch and YouTube links, and your preferences.
• Push notification devices and their rules, saved hunts and alerts.
• Fits, skill, damage and target profiles, haul plans, skill plans, industry projects and Character Bazaar marks.
• Fleet tools data: configurations, trackers, waitlists, access lists, compositions and shared fleet intel.
• Quiz scores, writer applications, screenshot and video submissions (the stored image is removed too), ISK reports and draft or pending articles.
• Streaming widgets (kill feed, live ship, donations, wheel).

Some content is meant to stay available to other people. It stays, but it is no longer linked to you:

• Published articles stay online, signed "Capsuleers.app Staff" instead of your character.
• Scans, fleet reports, battle reports and pilot intel shares you created stay reachable to whoever has the link, without the record that they were yours.
• Bug reports you sent stay, without your account, character or browser details.
• Corporation bulletins you edited stay, without the editor.

• Public EVE Online data (killmails, character, corporation and alliance pages) comes from ESI and is not ours; it stays, as described in the privacy policy.
• A security log of administrative actions (kept only for administrators and moderators, never for ordinary users).
• Database backups: deleted data can remain in backups for up to 14 days, then they are rotated out.
• Analytics, if you accepted them: they are anonymous and kept by Google Analytics for at most 14 months.
• Messages you already posted on Discord and authorisations on the EVE side: to remove the authorisation from your EVE account too, use the third-party applications page of your EVE Online account.

Questions or requests about your data: [email protected]. We reply within 30 days.
