Saxon worked initially in the communications field until the capsuleer program became available, at which time he enrolled in the Federation Navy Academy. Almost immediately after graduation, however, he was discharged for reasons not specified in the public record. Despite the discharge, Saxon has since flown in the service of the Navy, the Senate and the Supreme Court as an independent contractor. Public records show his high standings with these organizations, but he is also known to lobby actively for the creation of a separate and sovereign Intaki State. Saxon is an avowed enemy of the Serpentis Corporation. Despite his frequent lectures on the dangers of illicit drugs, Saxon's son, Ravi, became involved in a Serpentis drug cult "Aenebra" and was killed in a drug-related hovercar crash.
