I was brought up in a fairly well off family. My father is a factory manager and my mother is a cloning technician. I was mostly brought up on the space station where they worked in the Korama system and I guess as a result I have always been fascinated by space travel. Fortunately I did well enough at school to gain a scholarship place at the School of Applied Knowledge at Todaki. Here I did quite well particularly at the Industrial courses but I decided that being confined to a space station wasn't for me so I worked hard and also got got onto the piloting courses even although I wasn't really a natural at piloting.? ? I have always admired the Caldari system as one of the best ways to improve life for all of its citizens. However it is not hard to see the huge inequities in wealth that exist within Caldari society. Now this is not to say that I don't think that those that have great ability and work hard should not receive great benefits far from it, in fact the real problem comes when those with talent are held back because they were not born into the right family or are otherwise held back from contributing as fully as they could to society.? ? While contemplating this and exploring the universe in my newly acquired Bantam I came across others who also felt that society need to break out of its old traditions if it was to progress further and thus the Jericho Fraction was born.? ? There are disagreements within Jericho as to what has exact cause of the plight we find ourselves in today is. See Jade Constantine's Bio for one point of view. I believe however that most of the problem comes from our genetic survival traits to favour our own offspring over all others. This leads to a multitude of problems for the development of a free and productive society and I see no evidence that any society existing in EVE today has done anything to confront these problems.? ? However whatever the cause of our problems there is a better way and one thing is certain: The Jericho Fraction is here to make it happen.
