Dark Renegade

Fade away from me and into the dark,
No glimmering lights or luminous spark,
Here, it is mystery bound by no one sense,
theres pain, theres torture, but yet no consequence,
Basking in misery which I have now called friend,
Accepting this weight as a wound i need not tend,
Deserving somehow of knives dug in deep,
the cringes and cries before falling asleep,
Following me relentlessly into my very dreams,
seeing their faces, hearing their screams,
Heart is bound, jaded and worn,
Too many times tricked and torn,
Desperation has left, Awaiting the day,
For my spark to relinquish and fade away,
share my madness?, my utter disregard?
No longer will I serenade, no longer the bard,
The thief, the death, the taker of life,
Born into hell, consumed by strife,
Mind together though shattered and scared,
Unhinged from reality, beaten and marred,
Laughter filling the deepest crevices of my mind,
The fear halted, insanity twists and binds.
