Description
Revolutionary Meritocracy [REVME] is a new kind of a corp in EVE - it has a meritocracy-like structure, which rewards you for helping the corp both financially and with your innovative ideas.
What is "Meritocracy"? Meritocracy is a type of government where the most skilled and contributing citizens are awarded high positions. In our case, it is a bit different. In RevMe, the most financially contributing members of the corp are awarded vote power, while the brightest minds are awarded council ranks. The council gathers together and decides that the corp should change something, so they petition me to create a vote for it. If the vote is a reasonable demand, I create the vote and everyone from the corp with shares votes for it. The more shares you have, the higher influence on the vote you will have. Vote examples:
>Should the corp move to nullsec
>Should the corp move to a WH
>Should the corp introduce higher benefits for the members (higher insurance %, free stuff for the veterans, discounts for the contributors)
And many more. If you, however, decide that voting is not quite for you and wish to sell your shares instead, the corp will buy them for 50mil isk each. The only rule here is that you have to be a member of the corp to sell the shares back to the corp.
What are "Work Points"?
The Work Points are a new system, designed to allow you to work for the corp and earn rewards, shares and money doing so. They allow you to mine, manufacture or do whatever you want WHENEVER you want, without having to even join fleet OPs - yes, that's right. You can solomine everything you want - from veldspar to mercoxit and still contribute to the corp.
All the rewards you can receive are listed at the Example tab at the website. A lot more to be added soon. The most active members will also receive some additional bonuses, such as bonus points for activity. For more info, visit:
