Role-Play Background
When Gallente Prime was first settled, along with the French settlers, also came a host of others from Scotland and Ireland, who took to the rugged highlands and mountains of Gallente Prime rather than the flatter and gentler plains and hills that the French took. Away from the major settlements, the Scot/Irish settlers moved into a lifestyle much like what they had lived for generations on Earth. After the collapse of the EVE Gate, the Scot/Irish remained largely untouched due to their lifestyle, though they did note that there were shortages in the main settlements. Being self-sufficient, the Scot/Irish settlers supplied themselves with food, clothing, and tools. They shared any surplus they had with the major settlements, though it wasn't much.
After many years, when the Gallente finally returned to space and began colonizing, many of the Scot/Irish descendants also went to space to chart their own paths. One of these groups was Clan Winter-Wolf, a clan who orignate from the far north of Gallente Prime. This left the clan largely isolated, but ironically enough, they were welcoming to outsiders, often giving food and a place to sleep to visitors and lost travelers. In this new age, Clan Winter-Wolf has once again shown their flexibility and openess to others by welcoming more than just Gallente into their clan. They welcome Amarrian, Caldari, and Minmatar into their ranks, even when others don't due to mistrust, especially of the Amarr and Caldari.
