The LICD Frontier Extraction Division was formed during LICD’s shift toward a new industrial era. As the demand for rare resources grew across Dammalin and the surrounding low-sec systems, the main LICD leadership recognized the need for a specialized arm dedicated to frontier extraction beyond the safety of high-sec.
Following a directive from Astraeos Khan—LICD’s tribal war-band leader and chief industrial architect—the Frontier Extraction Division was established as a semi-autonomous corporate unit. FED’s purpose is simple:
• Break open untouched low-sec moons
• Build PI chains across unsettled systems
• Locate and exploit high-value gas pockets
• Maintain mineral and fuel reserves the LICD tribe depends on
• Support newer pilots and smaller corps through industrial strength
FED is built on a blend of corporate precision and Minmatar tradition. Each operation honors the tribe’s heritage while embracing modern industrial efficiency. FED teams work quietly in the shadows of low-sec—where CONCORD’s reach fades and opportunity rises—extracting the materials that fuel LICD’s war effort, shipyards, and future expansion.
