All that is know of her early life is that she was orphaned after her parents were killed in a border dispute between the Gallente Federation and the Caldari State. All records were sealed.
Zartanna was raise by the state until a chance encounter with an Amarr ambassador. Recognizing her raw talent as a shrewd negotiator at such a young age, a petition was made to adopt the young progeny. So in the year YC95 at the age of 9, Zartanna began a new life on Amarr Prime.
Little is known about her whereabouts after she left for Amarr Prime or the identity of the Amarr ambassador.
In the year YC110, Zartanna surfaced in Jita IV - Moon 4 as the chairman of BlackPearl Syndicate [B.S.Y]. Very little information is available as to how she acquired such a vast network brokers and resources. Many speculate that she has the backing of the Minmatar Republic while others believe its black-op operation set up by the Gallente Federation.
