The corporation was named "AXIOS" in honor of Roman general Gnaeus Domitius Corbulo of late Earth history. Students at the Corbulo Academy of Navel Science honor Corbulo by exclaiming "Axios" meaning "I am worthy" in Greek. These were Corbulo's last words as he intentionally fell upon his own sword by order of Emperor Nero, who had ordered Corbulo to kill himself to prove his loyalty to the Roman Empire. Upon graduation of the Corbulo Academy of Navel Science students are granted admission into A X I O S. Only pilots of Amarr lineage apply.

Axios seeks Amarrians, Nu-Kunnis and Khanid pilots of all skills and professions from the newborn clone to the veteran of many wars. We are mature, professional and team oriented. Everyone fights, and everyone prospers is the philosophy we live by.

We currently seek:
- Skilled combat pilots - or - those newborn clones combat focusing
- Anyone with dedication and the drive to succeed.

Compulsory Requirements:
- Working communication equipment.
- Mature conduct.
- Ability to follow instructions.

We don't expect you to to be the best, but you should have a positive attitude towards criticism and eagerness to learn.
