Find the Drifter doorways and Jove observatories closest to a system: hive, signature, max ship size and hours left, with a direct in-game waypoint.

Drifter Finder answers one question at a time: from where I am now, which Jove Observatory and which Drifter doorway is closest? Pick an origin system and the tool ranks both by jumps, so you can decide whether the trip is worth it before you undock. Jove Observatories are listed first because they are what most pilots open this page for — they mark the K-space systems where a Drifter hole can appear.

Each doorway carries the hive it belongs to (Sentinel, Barbican, Vidette, Conflux or Redoubt), its signature, the maximum ship size the hole will pass and the hours it has left before it collapses. The hive filter narrows the list when you are hunting one specific chain, and every result has a waypoint button that sets the destination straight in the client.

Sizes and lifetimes matter more here than in normal wormhole space: a Drifter hole that will not pass your hull, or that expires before you can get back, is not a route — it is a trap. The tool shows both up front so the decision is made on the map rather than on the other side.

The nearest Drifter holes from where you are

Pick your system and the finder returns the Drifter wormholes known from it, with how far each one is, which hive it belongs to, and its signature where one is known.

Drifter holes are not like Thera connections: they come from Jove observatories and they are the way into the Drifter hives, so the question is usually which hive you are trying to reach rather than simply which hole is closest. The hive filter narrows the list to one.

Jove observatories

The page also lists the Jove observatories nearest to you, which is the other half of the same question. Drifter holes spawn from observatories, so knowing where the nearby ones are tells you where to look when nothing is currently reported.

An entry marked as spawned from a Jove observatory is one whose origin is known, which is a stronger piece of information than a hole that has simply been seen.

Setting the waypoint

With an EVE character connected, each result carries a button that sets that system as an autopilot waypoint in your client.

If you have several characters linked you pick which one, so you can route the scout rather than the main.

Frequently asked questions

Do I need to sign in?

Not to search. Signing in only adds the option to set a waypoint in your client, which needs a single permission you can revoke from your profile.

Why does a hole show no signature?

Because nobody has reported one for it. The location can be known from the observatory it spawned from while the in-system signature ID is not, and the entry is marked accordingly rather than left to look complete.

How is this different from the Thera finder?

Thera and Turnur are public shortcut hubs with a large scouted set of connections into known space, so that tool is about crossing the cluster quickly. Drifter holes lead into the Drifter hives, so this one is about getting into a specific hive.

How current is the list?

It reflects what is currently known, and wormholes collapse. Treat a listed hole as a lead to check rather than a guarantee, the same as any scouted connection.
