EVE Online community public fits

EVE Online community fit library: doctrines, Pyfa-parity PvP and PvE builds shared by capsuleers, cloneable into the fit tool and exportable to EFT.

The Capsuleers.app public fit library hosts ship builds shared by the EVE Online community: doctrines, PvP and PvE setups ready to copy. Every fit is authored through the integrated fitting tool — the Pyfa-parity engine with 631 stat assertions across 23 fixtures — and stays browsable via search, ship-class filter and pagination, so you quickly find the hull or role you need.

Open a fit to see DPS, EHP, capacitor stability and the full stat sheet computed with the same formulas as the in-game client, instead of trusting hand-saved numbers. From there you can clone the build into your own fitting tool to tweak it, export it in EFT format for the EVE Online client, or use it as a doctrine reference before an operation.

It's a community alternative to external fit databases, populated by the accredited Capsuleers.app Writers who choose to make their builds public instead of keeping them private or link-only. The catalogue grows fit by fit as authors contribute.

Two libraries, one feed

This page merges two sources into a single list, newest first: fits published by capsuleers here, and the community library of EVE Workbench. There is no source selector, because when you are looking for a Hurricane fit you do not care who hosts it.

Each card carries a chip saying where it came from. The chips above the list narrow to one source when you want that, and release when you click again.

Our mirror of the Workbench library covers roughly six thousand fits and grows as new ones are published. Every fit, ours and theirs alike, opens in the fitting editor with its full stats computed, so you can look at a fit rather than reading a text block.

Alpha or Omega, computed for every fit

Every fit in the list is classified as Alpha-flyable or not, and the classification is ours: we compute it for the Workbench half too, because their public API does not expose it.

The rule is the real one. In EVE the Alpha restriction is expressed only as a skill ceiling, so a fit is Alpha-flyable exactly when every skill the hull and every fitted item requires is trainable by an Alpha to the level demanded. There is no separate rule about which ships Alphas may fly, which is why shortcuts based on faction or tech level give wrong answers: a Gila hull is within an Alpha's reach, a Gila with tech two modules is not.

A fit that has not been classified yet is neither Alpha nor Omega and drops out of both filters rather than landing arbitrarily in one.

Narrowing the list

The facets are computed over both sources together, so a count is the number of fits you will actually see.

Borrowing a fit

Opening someone else's fit loads it into the editor with the modules locked, but charges, drones, fighters, cargo and the skill profile stay live. That is the case the page exists for: the fit belongs to whoever published it, and trying different ammo against it is the whole point.

If you are signed in, clone it into your own fits and it becomes your copy, editable and yours to publish. A borrowed Workbench fit carries a link back to the original on eveworkbench.com, since these are other capsuleers' fits.

Frequently asked questions

Do I need an account to browse fits?

No. Browsing, filtering and opening any fit works signed out, and so does changing its ammo and drones to see what that does to the numbers. Signing in is only needed to save a copy or publish your own.

Why does a fit I published on EVE Workbench not appear here?

Their public API serves only the most recent slice of their library, so a fit can exist there and not yet be in our mirror. Our mirror never deletes, so it accumulates past what any single sync can see, and a newly published fit normally appears within the hour.

Can I import a fit from the game or from Pyfa?

Yes. The editor reads and writes EFT text, which is what both the in-game fitting window and Pyfa export, so a fit moves between them by copy and paste.

Are the numbers the same as in game?

The engine is built for parity with Pyfa, which is itself the community reference for matching the client, and it applies your character's real skills when you connect them. Expect agreement on the usual figures rather than an exact match on every edge case.
