In-game bio
Ludo was born into a life of luxury and influence, his family one of the most powerful in the system. Yet, from an early age, he was haunted by a pervasive sense that something was amiss, as if the universe itself was subtly out of balance. This foreboding feeling became a nightmarish reality when, on a savage night that would forever scar his soul, his entire family was brutally murdered and their bodies displayed for the world to see—a gruesome message to all who bore the family name.
Barely escaping with his life, Ludo fled into the void, his identity and heritage stripped away. He had no understanding of why his family was targeted, nor did he grasp the full extent of the forces that continued to hunt him across the galaxy. Assuming a new identity, Ludo became a ghost in the underbelly of civilization, working in the shadows of stations and on the fringe of backwater planets. Every moment was spent searching for the truth behind the massacre, driven by a burning need to uncover why everyone he loved had to die—and why he was spared.
Years of fruitless searching and constant vigilance led Ludo to a decision that would change the course of his life. Desperate for answers and weary of the familiar dangers of civilized space, he signed up for an expedition into the unknown regions of wormhole space. These lawless, enigmatic sectors of the galaxy offered the promise of new beginnings, and for the first time in years, Ludo found a sense of belonging. With a crew of trusted comrades, he carved out a piece of the universe, establishing a POS that became a thriving hub of trade and wealth.
But peace is fleeting, and shadows from his past were never far behind. An agent of the unknown bastards who had slaughtered his family infiltrated the crew by stowing away on a transport ship. Ludo, preoccupied with scanning down trade routes, was unaware of the ticking time bomb hidden within his ranks. The agent, driven by the same malevolent forces that had torn his life apart before, initiated the self-destruct command on the POS, slaughtering everyone who stood in his way.
When Ludo finally returned to the system, something felt off. The D-scan readings were wrong—anomalies in the data that made his heart race. Warping back to the station, he was met with a scene of utter devastation: ashes, twisted metal, and the frozen corpses of his friends and comrades, all floating lifeless in the void.
