About Factional Warfare

Militias · victory points · advantage · frontline

Factional Warfare is a conflict within warzones fought by corporations aligned with one of the four empires of New Eden.

For members of a Factional Warfare corporation, all regions of empire space (hisec & lowsec) become areas where you and your faction allies may freely attack pilots from enemy militias without CONCORD interference.

Participants fight to capture warzone systems for their faction, racking up Victory Points and advancing through the ranks.

Each contested system shows how far the attackers are from capturing it: their victory points against the threshold. When they reach it, the system changes hands.

Advantage is CCP's own score for each militia in a system: terrain comes from the systems around it, dynamic from what pilots do there. The side with the higher score is favoured in that system.

Angel Cartel and Guristas insurgencies run inside these warzones but follow their own rules, so they have a page of their own: Pirate insurgencies

EVE Online Faction Warfare militia

An EVE Online Faction Warfare militia: warzone control, map with capture progress, every system with its role and CCP advantage, and the weekly leaderboard.

Each of the four empire militias of EVE Online Faction Warfare has its own page on Capsuleers.app. The header shows how much of the warzone the militia holds against its enemy, followed by its systems, its frontline, its contested systems, its weekly kills and victory points, and its enlisted pilots.

The warzone map draws every system of the conflict in the colour of whoever holds it, with a ring for capture progress in the attackers' colour and a mark on the systems taken from their original owner. Below it, the full list of the militia's systems can be searched, filtered by status and role, and sorted by capture progress or by the attackers' advantage.

The weekly leaderboard shows who is carrying the militia, and with a linked character you can see your own record next to the leaders.
