EVE Online Fleet Ops

EVE Online fleet ops tool for the fleet commander: wing/squadron management via ESI, doctrine presets, waitlist, fleet tracker and post-battle report.

The Fleet Ops tool on Capsuleers.app is the fleet manager that helps the EVE Online fleet commander run the current fleet via the `esi-fleets.read_fleet.v1` and `esi-fleets.write_fleet.v1` scopes. Once a character with those scopes is linked and you've taken the fleet boss role in-game, the tool shows the wing/squadron structure and the member list with current system, ship type and role.

Preset configurations save a complete doctrine structure (e.g. Muninn fleet: logi wing, dps wing, tackle wing, boosts wing) and re-apply it to the active fleet with one click. Presets are per-user and editable at any time. The fleet waitlist manages the queue via a sharable URL, with the eligibility verdict snapshotted at queue-time.

The fleet tracker records the positions of tracked members over time and produces a final fleet report with aggregated killmails and statistics, shareable via short link. It's built for FCs running NPSI fleets, corp doctrines or alliance ops. Pilots who aren't logged in see a Discord login prompt on the page.

A tracker that records the fleet as it runs

Start a tracker at the beginning of an operation and it records, every minute, who was in fleet and what hull they were in. A ship swap closes one interval and opens another, so the record is not a list of names but a timeline.

When you stop it, that becomes a report: hourly participation, a composition timeline showing what the fleet was flying at any point, and the kills and losses over the same window. You do not have to remember to do anything during the fight.

The waitlist

A shareable link people join from, without needing an account on anything. Each joiner's eligibility is evaluated when they queue rather than when you accept them, so a pilot cannot pass the check in one hull and then swap.

Composition slots let you say what the fleet needs, either a specific fit or a category of ship, and the queue is read against that. The access list controls who can see what, which is what makes a public waitlist usable without publishing your fleet's composition to everyone who opens the link.

Fleet analysis across every operation

Individual reports answer what happened that night. The analysis tab answers the longer question: who actually turns up.

It aggregates every report of a given fleet type across whatever months you select, deduplicating kills at the main-character level so a pilot with three alts in fleet counts once. From it you get participation over time, the hulls people actually bring, and growth or decline per pilot.

Frequently asked questions

What permissions does the tracker need?

Read access to the fleet for the character who is fleet boss, granted through CCP's official sign-on. Only the boss can read a fleet's membership, which is a rule of the game's API rather than ours, so a tracker only works while your character holds boss.

Can fleet members see the participation data?

Members can, outsiders cannot. Visibility follows the fleet's access list where one is set, and otherwise falls back to being visible to the people who were in the fleet or who share the boss's corporation or alliance.

Do people need an account to join the waitlist?

They need to have connected an EVE character, since the eligibility check reads their hull and their assets. They do not need anything else, and the link is all you have to share.

What happens if the tracker is running when I lose boss?

The recording stops, because the game's API will no longer serve fleet membership to that character. What was recorded up to that point is kept and still becomes a report.
