EVE Online NPSI fleet calendar

EVE Online NPSI (Not Purple Shoot It) fleet calendar from npsi.rocks: FC, formup system, time, doctrine and a short description for every public fleet.

NPSI fleets (Not Purple Shoot It) are EVE Online public fleets open to anyone respecting the basic rule: anyone not flagged as friend is hostile. They're the easiest way to take part in organised PvP without committing to a null-sec alliance, and long-running communities like Spectre Fleet host them regularly.

The NPSI page on Capsuleers.app aggregates the npsi.rocks calendar: for every upcoming fleet you see date and time, FC with portrait, formup system, expected doctrine and a short description, so you can plan at a glance which night to fly. Clicking the event opens the original record on npsi.rocks for full details and sign-up.

Capsuleers.app does not run the fleets nor maintain its own community list: it's a consolidated calendar so you don't have to check the individual NPSI Discords manually. To take part you must follow the rules of the hosting community, tune in to their voice comms and bring the fitting they require.

Public fleets, on one calendar

Not-purple-shoot-it fleets are the way most pilots get their first real fight: anyone can join, the fleet commander provides the doctrine, and everything not in fleet is a target. The problem has always been finding out one is happening, since announcements are scattered across a dozen communities.

This page collects the announced public fleets in one place, with what each one is, who is running it, when it forms and where.

What to bring, and what to expect

Each listing carries the doctrine or ship requirement the fleet commander has set, which is the thing to read before undocking: an NPSI fleet with a specific doctrine will turn you away in the wrong hull, and one advertised as come-as-you-are will not.

The other thing worth reading is the form-up location and time. NPSI fleets run on a schedule and a fleet that formed forty minutes ago is usually already deep in someone else's space.

New to public fleets

If you have never flown one: you do not need to be in any particular corporation, you do not need to be Omega for most of them, and losing the ship is expected rather than embarrassing. Bring a hull you can afford to lose, join the comms channel the listing names, and do what the fleet commander says.

It is the fastest way to learn fleet fighting, and it costs less than the first solo roam most people try instead.

Do I need an account to see the fleets?

No. The calendar is public and works signed out.

Can an Alpha clone join an NPSI fleet?

Usually yes, as long as you can fly the doctrine hull. Many public fleets run doctrines chosen so newer pilots can take part, and the listing will say when a fleet needs something an Alpha cannot fly.

Are these fleets run by you?

No. They are run by the communities that announce them, and this page collects the announcements. Everything about joining, the comms channel and the rules of engagement comes from the fleet commander running it.

What does NPSI actually mean?

Not purple, shoot it. Everyone in the fleet shows as purple on your overview, and anything that is not purple is a valid target. It is what lets complete strangers fly together without a standings setup.
