Public fleets anyone can join — no standings, no corporation. The Fleet Finder shows the next one, the whole week and every requirement, so you can be in staging on time. This guide explains each part.

What is the NPSI Fleet Finder?

NPSI means «Not Purple, Shoot It»: public fleets where everyone who is not in the fleet is a target, open to any pilot regardless of corporation, alliance or standings. Communities publish them on npsi.rocks with time, FC, staging system and requirements.

The Fleet Finder reads that schedule and lays it out to answer three questions fast: what is flying next, when are the busy nights this week, and what do I need to join this one. The join itself happens on npsi.rocks and in the host community.

When do NPSI fleets fly this week?

To see when NPSI fleets fly this week, the Fleet Finder draws one 24-hour band per day. Three counters — fleets left today, fleets in the next seven days, hosts — and «When they fly», a 24-hour band for each of the next seven days with a block for every fleet in its host colour and a line for now.

  2. Click a day in «When they fly» to open its list.

How do I see the fleets of another day?

You can switch the Fleet Finder list to any of the next seven EVE days. Under the top card a strip shows the seven EVE days from today with how many fleets each has. Picking a day reloads the list below.

  1. Click a day in the strip.
  2. The list title shows the day and how many fleets are shown out of the total.

Tip Days follow EVE time (UTC), as npsi.rocks does. In local time, a fleet that falls on another day carries a +1 or −1.

How do I see the requirements and join a fleet?

Clicking a fleet row in the Fleet Finder shows the requirements written by the host and the actions to join. Each row shows start and end time, a 24-hour track, the fleet name and host, FC and staging, and the status. Clicking it opens the description and the actions: join or details on npsi.rocks, route to the staging system, add to calendar.

How to use it

  1. Click a row.
  2. Read the requirements in the description.
  3. Use «Route to …» to plan the trip, or «Add to calendar» for a reminder.

How do I filter fleets by host, FC or system?

The Fleet Finder filters NPSI fleets by host community and searches them by name, FC or system. «Hosts» lists every community flying in the next seven days with its colour and fleet count. Clicking one keeps only its fleets; clicking it again clears the filter. The search box finds fleets by name, FC or system, and «Hide ended» keeps only the ones you can still join.

  3. Or type a fleet, an FC or a system in the search box above the list.

How do I see fleet times in my local time?

The switch at the top of the NPSI Fleet Finder flips every time on the page between EVE time (UTC) and the time zone of your device. The choice is remembered on this device.

How do I find past fleets and their reports?

To find a past NPSI fleet and its after-action report, use the monthly calendar of the Fleet Finder. The calendar on the right counts the fleets of every day of the month. Any day opens, past ones included: there the fleets are marked as ended and link to their after-action report on npsi.rocks.

How to use it

  1. Click a day in the calendar, or use the arrows for another month.
  2. On a past day open a fleet and press «After-action report».
  3. «Back to today» in the strip returns to today.

What is an NPSI fleet in EVE Online?

A public fleet run under the «Not Purple, Shoot It» rule: anyone not in the fleet is a target. Anyone can join, without a corporation, alliance or standings.

How do I join an NPSI fleet?

Pick a fleet, read its requirements, be in the staging system at form-up and follow the host's instructions — usually a public channel and a voice server listed on the event page on npsi.rocks.

Are NPSI fleets good for new players?

Many are. Several communities fly cheap doctrines and explain everything on comms, and some events are marked as a class.

Where does the schedule come from?

From npsi.rocks. Capsuleers.App reads its public schedule, refreshed about every five minutes; it does not run the fleets and does not change their details.

What does «Staging in channel» mean?

The host has not written a system in the event: the staging is announced in the fleet channel. Without a system there is no route button.

Is there ship replacement (SRP)?

It depends on the host community. Check the event page on npsi.rocks or ask in the fleet channel.

Why does a fleet show +1 or −1 next to the time?

In local time that fleet falls on the day before or after the EVE day it belongs to.
