Ship-class weighting
Every hull is ranked by class weight so the read-out is always biggest-threat-first, from Titan and Supercarrier down to Frigate and Capsule.
Turn the directional scanner into actionable intel
The Capsuleers.app D-Scan analyzer takes the raw EVE Online directional scanner output — usually a long flat list of names and types within 14 AU of your ship — and turns it into a categorised, threat-weighted view. It also handles full local dumps (L-Scan) and three consecutive snapshots for trilateration. Two reading modes, SIMPLE (default) and PRO, switchable on the fly and persisted per user.

Every hull is ranked by class weight so the read-out is always biggest-threat-first, from Titan and Supercarrier down to Frigate and Capsule.
When D-Scan distances and the detected system's celestials are available, the tool estimates your scanner position and plots it on the tactical map.
PRO mode separates contacts with a real distance reading (in-grid) from those reported without one (off-grid), each with its own class totals.
Local pastes group into Alliance → Corporation → pilot, with per-corp counts and eve-kill stats hydrated for each character.
Toggle Ships, Structures, Deployables, Celestials and Others to focus the D-Scan breakdown on exactly what matters in the moment.
The system name is inferred straight from the D-Scan dump and its celestials are pulled in to drive the tactical map and distance math.
Fleet-comms readout
Full tactical workspace
SIMPLE is the fleet-comms view: grouped counts, voice-friendly format, ideal for fast callouts. PRO unlocks the tactical map with in-grid / off-grid distinction, per-pilot drilldown and full module dumps. The choice is remembered for your profile.
Frigate, destroyer, cruiser, battlecruiser, battleship, capital, supercapital, structure, mobile depot — the tool recognises each ship and groups by class with count and weighted score.
Three consecutive dumps from different positions and the tool proposes the target's approximate location with an uncertainty circle on the system map. Only available in PRO mode because it needs spatial context.
Paste the in-game D-Scan and the analysis is instant. No ESI, no OAuth, no waiting.
Yes. The angle and distance filters don't change the output format. The tool handles any range within the scanner's 14.3 AU.
SIMPLE when you're doing voice callouts in fleet and need a fast summary ("5 battleships + 2 logi off-grid"). PRO when you have time and want to know who's where and what they're flying — for fleet prep, post-fight intel or active hunting.
Yes, copy the share view URL: the tool serialises the input into the URL state and is shareable.
