In-game bio
Daughter of some miners, she had lived and worked around ships all her life. The pirates came when she was 16, threatening to kill all the inhabitants if they didn't turn over their ore to them immediately. Her parents were some of the first ones used to "Make an example". She was next.
As they were being lined up, alarms began to sound over the pirate's communicators. An expeditionary force had warped into the area. The pirates immediately left, taking all but one small ship with them - a ship that she claimed for her own. It was a small shuttle, not useful to any of the miners. Since they didn't want to be burdened with her, they gave her some provisions and she set off.
Upon reaching the base, she sold the shuttle and used the money to finance her way into the War Academy where, due to her miner beginnings, she is somewhat of an "outsider" and a loner, a bit rough around the edges compared to the base-bred officers she encounters.
