Growing up in a family of scientists, Jesloy was destined to be a great scientist himself one day. Thus it came as no surprise that he graduated from college as best of class.
Although the Caldari don’t get along very well with the Minmatar, he then spent one year at Pator Tech School in the Minmatar Republic to gain experience in scrap metal processing. This was because Minmatar “scientists” are known to be amongst the most experienced experts of that domain in the entire known galaxy. Another reason may have been his conviction that it’s always good to know a potential enemy’s “technology”.
After returning from his stay abroad, he applied for studies at the renowned Science and Trade Institute, which of course accepted his application.
His main interest there was in starship construction and marketing, reflecting his true Caldari heritage of combining good solid science with the knowledge of making a profit from it.
As an unforeseen turn in his career he attended pod pilot flight school after finishing his studies with honors, mostly due to a group of friends that urged him to it and who themselves had also attended flight school. It was with these friends that he founded a corporation after earning his pilot’s licence.
The newly founded corporation specialized in the production of starships, although the name ‘beyond-infinity financial services’ would suggest otherwise. At this point the combination of having academic degrees in starship construction and marketing as well as the experience of a pod pilot paid out very well and the young corporation managed to generate vast amounts of income.
The negative effects of having all that money can buy but not having real challenges anymore culminated in the retirement of most of the co-founders. Jesloy himself then took an extended vacation, travelling the galaxy in search for the perfect wave as surfing is his favourite spare time activity. Because most of the best beaches can be found in the Gallente Federation’s territory he later labelled this time as ‘Information gathering on a potential enemy’.
After months of girls, beaches, waves and sun he finally returned to serious business just to find that a former employee had cleared out all the valuable blueprints and production materials from the corporation’s hangars. His private finances allowed for purchase of a Thorax class cruiser though, thus he quickly earned new wealth performing petty assassi
