In-game bio
Born into a modest family on Caldari Prime, Sergio Corbucci grew up fluent in the real currency of Caldari life: not cash, but leverage. In a society run by megacorporations rather than governments, understanding who owed what to whom was survival, and the fact that his family had little to spare made that lesson impossible to ignore. Where other children of the State dreamed of flight academies or military commissions, Sergio studied balance sheets.
His break came as a station trader, working the gap between what the market wanted and what it would pay for. He built a reputation fast: sharp instincts, an eye for arbitrage, a willingness to make deals other traders wouldn't touch. It got him noticed, and it got him capital. But trading was never the destination. It was seed money.
With that capital, Sergio founded Corbucci Holdings, not to chase the next clever trade, but to own the ground the trades happened on. He pushed hard into planetary industry: extraction rights, colony infrastructure, supply contracts, expanding operations across dozens of worlds until Corbucci Holdings had outgrown being just a company. Today it serves as executor of the Corbucci Industries alliance, the corporate and political center holding a growing network of member corporations together.
What sustains that position isn't market timing. Sergio spends little time on the trading floor these days; the real work is unglamorous: colonies run to their limits across a dozen worlds, corporate structures built to scale, an alliance managed and held together through sheer institutional control. Extensive neural augmentation has helped him keep pace with all of it. He is, by every measure that matters inside Corbucci Holdings, more architect than gambler. By capsuleer standards, he's also still remarkably young for how far he's come, which is exactly how he prefers it. Sergio Corbucci was never interested in becoming a legendary pilot. He wanted to be the reason legendary pilots had someone to answer to.
Whatever else changes, the core stays Caldari: discipline, pragmatism, an unwavering focus on the bottom line. Sergio Corbucci didn't build Corbucci Holdings by being liked. He built it by making himself impossible to route around.
