Growing up on the ocean world of Sivala V was anything but luxurious. I was my father's most precious asset... his perfect, little girl. Dividing my time between rigorous shooling and backbreaking exercise, I spent my earliest youth under his ever watchful eye.

Only later, during my teenage years, when I started working as a maintenance diver in my families refinery, I, for the first time in my life, came to know a measure of freedom. I was good in my job, a natural swimmer and gifted with machines. I worked hard, and partied even harder, dancing the nights away along the other workers in a haze of hammering beats, sweat and boosters... I was happy.

Until, well, someday it all was over. My father had arranged for me to marry the son of one of his business partners (a nice enough guy, actually, aside from being 20 years older then me, and a known sadist) Needless to say, it didn't happen...

I never looked back.
