Having lost a fair portion of her family's assets while gambling on a robotic duel, Naomi Kaolin was summarily cut off from all family holdings, and deprived of any of the benefits previously afforded her. Tossed out on her backside, she was faced with the reality of life without special priviledge.
With little other options available to her, she sought temporary work in the Caldari State War Academy where she buried herself in the intense study of the sciences of thought itself and mastery of combat piloting, excelling at both.
Successful, yet unfulfilled by the trappings of Empire space, she keeps her eyes and ears open for opportunities that would open up a universe of unknowns to her....the regions of space not hampered by the restrictions so prevelant within secure space.
