In-game bio
Maarssi started of her space debut with a couple of missions. Everything went well untill she accepted a more dangerous misison, intent on the spoils it would bring. Things went horribly wrong. Maarssi died in a screaming ball of fire. And screaming was exactly what she did as she died... and as she woke up in a new body. The link didn't sever upon dead. She remembered her flesh melting, her eyes popping out and then the powerfull suction of empty space ripping her remains apart.
Ever since that day she has died over a dozen times. Plasma burns, suffocation, ripped apart by metal shards, blown apart by explosions, more than a dozen deaths and she remembers all of them. It has changed her. She's become immune to physical pain but her psyche was warped. Some would curse it but it has given her a clarity of mind when things turn bad. She has reawoken the instinct that all humanoids had before cloning became commonplace: the will to survive.
