In-game bio
Nisson awoke, the light from a purple sun pouring through a nearby window, blinding his vision. He couldn't open his eyes. He struggled to center himself; no sensor readings, no pulses of energy running through his brain. There was no way to get his bearings.
He wasn't in his Catalyst; He wasn't in his pod; Nisson Solette was laid out, nearly helpless, in a medical bay, at the CAS station in Clellinon.
"He's coming to..." he heard from someone at his side. It was a private room, apparently paid for by someone high-up at the University of Caille. His nurse briefed Nisson on the situation.
Two thousand, three hundred, forty-four days had gone by since he was last online. Nearly six and a half years had gone by since his brain scan was last in a clone. The last time Nisson's pod was destroyed, the clone server at the station failed to upload his data into a fresh clone.
In April YC122, during the early phases of an investigation led by CONCORD and the Immunology Department at the UoC, a researcher came across Nisson's pattern looping in the server while reviewing kill mails routed through the station to understand an emerging virus better.
After a few days of rehab, Nisson was loaded into a fresh pod and one of his recovered catalysts and sent off into space.
Everyone Nisson knew had moved on. His past corporation had removed all access rights, so he went off to do some mining to start rebuilding his ISK. He joined up with another solo capsuleer who had heard of a mining corp taking on newbros in the Aven Constellation of Genesis. Nisson figured Indy was a safe way to flex his muscles while learning about the technological advancements that had occurred in his absent time, all while making new friends.
Through the slow burn of rock crushing in the belts of Simela, Nisson would experience flashes of memories. Images and feelings that didn't quite match any place he had been in New Eden. These were memories that didn't exist before the years spend on (in?) a server.
Were these memories a product of his time on the server? Was this some strange side effect of the disease spreading rapidly throughout New Eden? Or was this something perhaps from another lifetime?
Nisson is making his way through Null-sec, part of an alliance that now includes his past corporation, to churn the ISK needed to fund his search for answers to these strange memories and his longing for a place he's never called; home...
