In-game bio
Descended from a wealthy Ni-Kunni family, Paynus was always interested in other languages and cultures. This interest developed into a fanatical sympathy for the plight of the Minmatar. Upon discovering his capacity to be a capsuleer, Paynus enlisted in the Republic Fleet to wage war against the Amarr in a kind of Patty Hurst style delusion. Fortunately or unfortunattely as it may, a freak skill programming accident prevented the poor Paynus from ever firing a turret. The dejected warrior then turned his attention to making fortunes as a freighter and ORE pilot. Years later, however, Paynus would discover that his brain damage did not prevent him from becoming an expert with missiles, so he used the leadership and tactical skills he had gained during his life in the stars to become an accomplished Minmatar combat booster, EWAR, and logistics pilot. His fanatical support of the Minmatar has waned, but his genius will always reign supreme.
