Preferring to act on his own, now he's wandering the universe, looking for knowledge and purpose of his life.
Gudleif spent his childhood on Eggheron VIII. His father, Håvard worked as a first officer on the Rorqual ship named "Elephant".
If there was a bandits sometimes in the Eggheron space area, they were disorginized, and flew in a small groups. But no one expected that there will be Sansha's slavers. No one expected that they will so brassy enough to attack a few colonies on the planet. No one expected that a lot of people will be dead or enslaved...
His mother, Fjøla managed to save 3 years-old son, but unfortunately didn't protect herself, and get killed. Since then Håvard had to care of his son alone, and moved into Alentene IV, to start a new life.
Håvard died due to an accident on the "Elephant" 15 years later at YC118.
Gudleif left his home a 1 month after his father's death.
